The San Francisco Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center is located at 1748 Market Street, next to the Central Skyway portion of the 101 Freeway, in San Francisco. Its cross streets are Octavia and Laguna, and it is two blocks East of the U.S. Federal Reserve building — and Safeway.

Map To Center

The best way to make it to the center will be on board an “F” line streetcar. You can also take a MUNI bus or subway car, and walk to the center. That way you’ll have a ride home without the hassles of parking in San Francisco!

The closest “F” line stop is at Market St. and Guerreo St. The nearest MUNI buses are the 26 (exit at Valencia and McCoppin), 6, 7, 66, and 71 (exit at Laguna). The center is almost directly between the Van Ness and Church subway stops, and accessible via the J, K, L, M, and N lines. Additional transit information is available at www.transitinfo.net

Should you choose to brave the streets of San Francisco, you can use the following map to find your way to the center, of get additional directions via a website like Yahoo! or MapQuest. Please be considerate of our neighbors and do not block driveways or park in blue or white zones.

Once at The Center, you can enter through the main doors at Market Street, or through the more discrete entrance on Waller Street, on the back side of the building.
